The European Commission opened the tender for three studies on human trafficking. They represent concrete actions included in the 2017 Commission Communication "Reporting on the follow up to the EU Strategy towards the eradication of trafficking in human beings and identifying further concrete actions" in order to support the work of the Member States, stakeholders and the European Commission in this area.

Please be informed that European Commission has published on 26th of July 2018 a call for proposals on the Support to victims of trafficking in human beings, with deadline 31 January 2019.

On the 6th of June the European Commission published its annual Report on the EU Charter of Fundamental Rights.

Public consultation on funds in the area of migration and security was launched and will be open until 8 March 2018.

On the 28th of September 2017 as part of the project called “Evaluation and improvement of system for effective identification and support of child victims of trafficking in human beings” which was co-financed by the Norwegian Grants in the framework of the PL-15 “Schengen Cooperation and Combatting Cross-border Organised Crime, including Trafficking and Itinerant Criminal Groups” a study visit in Warsaw took place.

Between 20-22 September 2017 a study visit in Oslo took place. It was organized as part of the project "Rising the awareness of Polish people who may be at risk of being trafficked while going abroad" co-financed by the Norwegian Grants in the framework of the PL-15 “Schengen Cooperation and Combatting Cross-border Organised Crime, including Trafficking and Itinerant Criminal Groups”.

Project "Rising the awareness of Polish people who may be at risk of being trafficked while going abroad" is carried out in the framework of the PL-15 “Schengen Cooperation and Combatting Cross-border Organised Crime, including Trafficking and Itinerant Criminal Groups” of the Norway Grants. The project’s budget amounts to 56,000 PLN of which 47,600 PLN is the support from Norway Grants.

Project "Evaluation and improvement of system for effective identification and support of child victims of trafficking in human beings” is carried out in the framework of the PL-15 “Schengen Cooperation and Combatting Cross-border Organised Crime, including Trafficking and Itinerant Criminal Groups” of the Norway Grants.

The report is published by the Ministry of the Interior and Administration and it describes the phenomenon of trafficking in human beings in 2014.
