Acording to Police data on THB prepared by the Unit for Combatting Trafficking in Human Beings in Criminal Service Office of Police Headquarters, 750 cases of THB were identified between 2011 and 2014. Police registered 70 suspects and 375 victims.

According to data from Prosecution General, prepared on the basis of on going monitoring of preparatory proceedings in the area of THB, there were 239 cases of THB (art. 189a § 1 and § 2 of  penal code) registered between 2011 and 2014 

In the course of those proceedings 1058 victims were identified and recorded.

It can be observed that the number of proceedings ending with an indictment remains stable since 2011. In 2014 there was a slight decrese of indictments from 34% of all proceedings in 2013 to 23%. The number of victims recorded by prosecution has also decreesed.

The proportion of exploitation form also remains stable with sexual exploitation being the dominant form. In 2014 there was a decreese of victims of forcing to social benefit frauds and credits or bank loans.

Two cases of transit through the territory of Poland were detected in 2014.
