Project "Evaluation and improvement of system for effective identification and support of child victims of trafficking in human beings” is carried out in the framework of the PL-15 “Schengen Cooperation and Combatting Cross-border Organised Crime, including Trafficking and Itinerant Criminal Groups” of the Norway Grants.

The project’s budget amounts to 30,000 PLN of which 25,500 PLN is the support from Norway Grants. The project is carried out by the Unit for the European Migration Network and Prevention against Trafficking in Human Beings in the Department of Analysis and Migration Policy and some of the activities are supported by experts from Council of Europe.

The main objective of the project is to assess and increase the effectiveness of the system of identification of minor victims and to establish an effective and comprehensive system support of children  victims of THB in compliance with applicable international standards.


The project activities include:

  • conducting a research study on good practices and challenges in system of identification child’s victims of THB in Poland,
  •  a study visit of the COE experts in Warsaw (one-day seminar) to exchange the views, to present the assumptions of the research study and to consult the future actions Poland wants to implement in the next financial perspective,
  • development of a report on best practices and challenges for the identification of minors of trafficking in human beings in Poland.
